This is a very interesting Koto period nagamaki. It is in polish and has a very active ara-nie that extends into ji-nie in the hada. The hamon has many hataraki and the hada is well made with some utsuri in places. There are two course areas in the hada, overall the hada looks very tight and forged well for a sword of this age.
