Here we have a shinto period katana with mounts. The sword's condition is very good and has no flaws. The elegant suguba is of subtle samurai taste and not flamboyant. The hada is very well made and is tightly forged. The hamon has a thick nio-guchi and ashi are visible. This is a fine example of a samurai sword from the shinto era. It would be a good idea to submit this sword to shinsa in the future.
