SHIGETAKA HARIMA NO DAIJÔ NIDAI [KANBUN 1661 ECHIZEN] SHINTÔ CHÛJÔSAKU
His works have a ji of mokume tachi, hamon is suguba or gonome and midareba. These works are closer to the style of sandai and yondai Yasutsugu of the same era rather than the shodai Shigetaka.
Signature: ECHIZEN JÛ HARIMA NO DAIJÔ FUJIWARA SHIGETAKA
This well made wakazashi has an abundance of activity in the hamon. You can see many hataraki like sunagashi, nioi kuzure, and inazuma. The hada is very rich looking and has a milky look to it. This wakazashi was forged very well. I would recommend polishing this sword in the future to bring out even more of its beauty and to add to its value overall.
