This is a very well made blade by the seki sword smith Kanehisa.  The hamon is very well made.  It is beautiful and has good activity throughout.  This is a koto katana in very good condition.  The hada is nicely forged with some coarseness within it as is common with some Seki swords.  It was apparent this sword was used in battle because it received a minor blow in the shinogi from another sword which did not damage the blade at all.  This adds a little more historic importance to the sword.
