This beautiful daito is from the soshu school. Soshu school swords are not found all the time for sale and are quite rare, especially in this condition and quality with a signature. This sword shows many of the soshu traits making it very interesting for a collector. it is gunome-midare of nie, with ashi, tobi-yaki,ni-juba and a midare-komi boshi. The daito is long at 27-1/8' and has a very elegant shape and feel. It has no flaws and comes polished.
