This is a bizen school sword with excellent provenance. The sword has been inscribed on the nakago that this sword was special ordered by LORD YOSHIMURA SABURO. This is a very interesting historic fact to start with. Also this daito was made by Bizen Harumitsu. He is rated as a Chu-jo level smith. Chu-saku is regular level chujo-sauk is above average quality. The blade has a very fine looking hada and some utsuri can be found also on the blade. Overall the sword is flawless and sound. The hamon has many hataraki and is very attractive. Good quality special ordered Bizen swords are difficult to come by.
