This is a very stout shin-shinto wakazashi. The size of this blade and the hira-zukuri shape make it very interesting. The hada is very smooth and well forged. The hamon has good activity (hataraki). It comes in a new saya to protect the condition and polish. The handle is strong and in good shape. The fittings are nice quality and overall this is a great example of a shin-shinto era wakazashi with unique details. This sword is a good candidate for papers.
