This is an exquisite very long daito. The workmanship and shape of this sword reflects a very elegant quality sword. It has a very beautiful carving in the sword. The activity in the hada/grain is very well made and rich looking. The hamon has many hataraki with in it. This is very long at 29-3/8" inches. The chikanori school is well known and produced many fine smiths. Overall this is a very fine sword for any collector.

KOSHIRAI
Original mounts come with this sword. The saya is newly made and in perfect condition even if this swords was used for kata in Iaido. This would be an extremely high quality sword for kata only. As it is a fine antique sword we recommend proper care be taken to preserve its value for long term.
