This long Daito is very well made and a fine example of a sword by Katsumitsu. Not many swords are seen from this smith. The hamon has many hataraki (Activity). The overall shape is elegant and the hada is very well forged. The hada is very silky looking and beautiful. Overall the is a fine quality sword that dates back to the 1600's.
