HIROSADA HIZEN [JÔKYÔ 1684 HIZEN] SHINTÔ CHÛJÔSAKUHe is the son of shodai Kanehiro, and became the nidai Kanehiro. He is called Sôuemon, and the shodai was later called Yoshiie. (Refer to Yoshiie) His works are gonome choji, there are also suguba, and both the ji and ha are strong.
He was in the Tadayoshi Mon, and later changed his name to YOSHIIE, He died in 1656.
This wakazashi is exquisite, the workmanship is very fine. The hamon has many hataraki and the pictures can not do this sword justice. The hada is very strong and rich looking. This is a beautiful example of a hizen school sword and one of Hirosada's finest works.
