This tanto is in a full polish and is well made. The hamon has very good activity and the hada is dark and very well forged. Nobukatsu was in the Mimasaka Tada Masanori Mon, and later worked in Edo in the Hosokawa Mon. He died in 1871. This sword has nice mounts that were good quality and also received papers from the NTHK so its a very nice tanto for a collector.
