Condition:  good old polish no flaws

 

This is an interesting tanto because not many Showa era tanto were made.  Smiths concentrated there efforts on producing Katana for the war effort.  There is no information found on this smith.  During the war there were many smiths that were not listed but made many blades.  This tanto has many hataraki in the hamon and the hada has no flaws and its very tightly forged.  Overall this is an interesting WWII era Tanto that is rare find.
