This is a very long sword for a showa era blade. It is obviously a special ordered sword. It is extra long and even has well carved bohi / horimono. The hada is muji and is extremely tight. The hamon is very well done and is very pleasant. This sword is mounted in its original mounts for that time period. These mounts are civilian sword mounts and were also made during the showa era. The sword has a fresh new saya to prevent the sword from rusting. The fresh polish is in good condition as is not meant to be an art polish but more a functional polish for the sword to be used. Overall this is a very interesting sword that is out of the norm for its time period.
