                It is thought that he was the successor of Yokoyama Sukemitsu.

This is Yokoyama Sukemitsu and worked in Hitachi. His home kuni was Bizen, and he signed at least 9 different ways. His name was Yokoyama Kichijiro. He was born in Edo in 1820. There are nenki of Kaei, Ansei, Man'en, and Meiji (2 and 4) in his works. This is an exquisite sword that has a gorgeous hamon loaded with hataraki/activity.  The blade is very long and has a well forged dark hada.
