This is a very elegant and beautiful long katana. Many Jumyo smiths are noted in the archives on swordsmiths so it is very difficult to be sure as to what smith made any particular sword wither it is signed or appraised to Jumyo thru papers. The swords are judged to be of this line of smiths because of there workmanship. There work is known but little is know of all the particular smiths. This sword is a very nicely made katana and exhibits a very classical subdued Japanese style. The hada is forged in a itame style and has a milky look to it. The hamon has very well made hataraki and is very evenly tempered. The koshirai are all matching and also well made.
