The hamon is very active and rich with ashi and other hataraki. The hori is in the Bo-hi style and well cut. The mounts have age to them also and are very good. The handle even has its old tsukamaki in good condition considering its age. The saya has some wear but is not broken or split. This early blade is very sound for its age and is in a good polish.
