This long katana is in excellent polish and is of good quality but it has a very tiny hagiri that is almost impossible to see. The shape of this sword is of an early tachi. The curvature is very deep and elegant. The work on this sword is Bizen school work. This sword would be a fine sword for iaido or for a new collector looking to see plenty of activity in a blade. The hada is clear and the hamon has many hataraki. The military mounts are in good condition also.
