kan 850This is a hand forged katana made in the traditional fashion. It was made by Noshu Kanehide. The sword is in an old polish with stains but would be beautiful in a fresh polish some day. The hamon is made up of mostly nioi with some nie mixed in. The hada is very tight and has no flaws. The sword has no handle and after a polish it would be a great idea to put in shirasaya. This is a good example of a gendaito made by Kanehide.
