Not much is known about this smith only that he work around Jokyo (1684-1688).  Looking at this sword it looks to be more of a koto blade than shinto so perhaps he was working in the old style of sword making.  The hamon is very elegant and has a very subdued feel to it.  You will find activity in this hamon and even in the boshi.  The hada is forged well and is accompanied with mounts.
