This smartly mounted exquisitely made tanto comes in a decent older polish. The hamon is extremely active and full tempered or hitatsura hamon. The blade is made in the soshu style from the koto era prior to the 16th century. The hada is an O-itame mixed with masame. The sword still shows the blades fine qualities even in an older polish such as this. The mounts are silver washed and appear to be vintage. They are a complete set and well made.
