Though this activity is present and can be seen this sword looks more like the whole picture view. The real beauty will be revealed after restoration. As you can see there is a swirling kinsuji /tsunagashi activity that reminds one of potato vines. Jinie is abundant as well as much much more.
The blade appears to be Koto but the verdict is out until restoration is completed.
The Koshirae is military style with a civilian tsuba.
The sword is O-suriage with a 27.5" cutting edge. This sword begs for restoration!!!
