This is a very good quality wakazashi made by a later generation kanemoto smith.  The kanemoto line of smith were very well known and created sword in the mino tradition.  they were especially known for the sanban suji hamon.  This is a fine example of a shinto era wakazashi in mounts with papers.  The sword looks better in hand as it was difficult to photograph.
