Even in the kissaki/point you can find an attractive and active hamon with a healthy turn back. This fine blade has grooves/bo-hi carved into it and very well done. The hada is thghtly forged and looks milky. Some utsuri is visible. The overall balance and feel of this sword is of a real high quality samurai sword that the maker signed and dated. It has never been cut down or altered in anyway and is ubu/original in shape and size. The mounts are also original to the sword and comes with its saya that has been restored. This sword comes polished in shirasaya and the mounts have a tsunagi. It has papers authenticating the signature and quality and is in a very beautiful sashikomi polish that highlights the refined work in the hamon.
