This is a fine shinto era katana with a long signature in great polish.  The saya/scabbard was restored and now is also in good condition.  This sword comes in its mounts.  The workmenship is very good in the hada and hamon.  The metal has a wet look to it and is well forged.  The hamon/temper line has many hataraki/activity that are visible in the photos but this sword is even better in hand.  It also has papers verifying that the signature is good and that the blade quality is high.  Overall this is a good collectable sword.
