This is an interesting style wakazashi that is very old (1400's) and is overall in good condition for its age. The signature reads masamune but this is not signed like the famous masamune. A great many smiths signed using this name. This sword is good starter sword for a collector. You can study the hamon and hada for details. The hamon has very good activity and is worth preserving. The blade has a little course hada that is not going to take away much from the sword but this sword will be priced very fair for a new collector.
