This is a very fine quality Iga No Kami Kinmich Katana. We guarantee the signature to be 100% correct and will buy it back if it does not pass NBTHK shinsa. This long blade was made in a koto style. It is very well balanced and the shape is elegant. The hamon is a mixture of nie and nioi. The nioi is thick and the hamon has many ashi, uchinoke and other hataraki. The hada it very silky and well forged. It is itame and also has a beautiful milky appearance. The sword also has a very interesting and well done horimono/carving of a dragon. This carving is very crisp and expertly done. It may have taken longer to carve this dragon than to make the sword itself. This blade has no flaws and comes in its original mounts. The mounts are in true samurai style. They are all solid iron and matching. The saya is made of pine needles in lacquer and the handle has its original old wrap. This is a very fine quality item that only need to go thru shinsa some day.
