This beautiful katana looks to be from the Mino den and is koto. At some point it probably had papers but as it is now it comes without papers. The restoration on this sword would have been around $4000.00 especially with the extremely high quality habaki. This sword will easily receive good papers if submitted for shinsa. The sword has a minor kizu on the blade that is not open. The polish is good and comes in shirasaya. You can see in the pictures the activity in the hamon and the forging of the hada. This is a sword that is in a good polished condition with a new gold foil mon habaki and is in shirasaya.
