This is a long healthy katana in solid mounts. The blade is of good quality. The hamon has many hataraki/activity that is more easily viewed in hand than in the pictures. The hada is tightly forged and has a subdued appearance. This beautiful sword is in mounts and is from the shi-shinto era and comes with papers. The fittings are especially well made and of high quality. They are all in one matching theme of tigers. Overall this is an outstandingly mounted daito or katana.
