This is a unique yokoyama Sukemori den katana with fine restored koshirai. The hamon is active with many ashi and haraki mixed. The sword is on the longer side at 27" and has a very good balance. The hada is milky in color and is tightly forged in a itame pattern. The curvature is a very nice tori sori adding to the balance of this sword. The Yokoyama line of smiths were well regarded for their exuberant hamon styles. The fittings are also very nice with a satsuma style saya and higo koshirai. This sword is in fresh polish, comes with mounts and papers authentication the sword and quality.
