He is in the Naotane Mon, and is said to be the son of Sryshi Tamahide. [TN: Note the different kanji for "HIDE".]
Signature: SRYSHI TAMAHIDE
This fine wakazashi is very beautiful and has a fine hitatsura hamon that is extremely active. The hamon looks like fire billowing with smoke throughout it. The activity is incredible and the hada is very rich also and well forged. The mounts are in matching animal motif and the saya has been beautifully restored to a high quality lacquer style. Overall this is a beautiful hirazukuri wakazashi in full polish and papered.
