This is a very good late koto era wakazashi made by Hiroshige.  Hiroshige is a known and listed smith that made good swords.  The hamon is suguba and is nie deki with nioi mixed and has good hataraki/activity.  This blade is very elegant with a tightly forged hada that has a silky rich look to it.  Some ji nie is visible also.  This sword comes with mounts and papers attesting to the signature and quality of this sword.
