This is a very long sword almost 30" long and is made by the Takeda school of swordsmiths. The sword has good activity and is forged well. The shape is very elegant and well balanced. The saya is newly restored and can be used for iaido if necessarily. Overall this is a good old samurai sword that is very functional also and is well mounted. This sword is accompanied with papers attesting to its quality and maker.
