This is an early samurai Yoroi/armor that is from the 1500-1600’s. It is in remarkable shape for its age and is complete. It was owned by one family for over 40 years. The back even has the brackets that would of held a flag. Many times these are missing. The Kabuto/helmet is also very interestingly shaped. It is not common but is seen from time to time. This is a fine old Yoroi that would be beautifully displayed in a glass enclosure. It is a fine example of armor that was used by a Samurai back in the early Edo era.
