KANEFUSA (Gifu province) (fss-933)

This a very long gendaito at 30-5/8″ long.  The blade is made by Kanefusa and is well made.  The sword has horimono (Bo-Hi) and is well balanced. Kanefusa is sword smith from Gifu province and born in 1922. He was got many kind of awards like Syourei-syo Yushu-syo.Doryoku- shyo prizes and got Gifu prefecture’s Arts and Culture Encouragement Award and also was made dedication swords for
Atsuta shrine and Meiji shrine. He is highly rated sword smith.
Koshirae : Modern style Higo school
This sword made has strong Jigane with
deep Nioikuchi and Ashi. It is comparable to
Hojoji school.”
