Here we have a very beautiful antique sword that is very well mounted. The sword dates back to the Edo era (1600’s-1800’s). The fittings are signed and have a beautiful rich colored patina. This sword has no flaws and is very well-made. No flaws or opening can be found on this blade. Its in an older polish thats in good shape. The sword is unsigned, and will receive a good paper when submitted to shinsa in the future. If looking for a solid antique Japanese sword that is authentic and untouched for many years, this is the sword. It appears mino school and h as a active hamon with many hataraki. Nie and nioi are visible and flow beautifully along its length. The forging is very tight and no flaws are visible. This is a wonderful, honest sword from the EDO era.
