MINO SHINTO KATANA (fss-941)

We have here a very nice Shinto katana in the Mino tradition. The Mino tradition in the Shinto era succeeded those of the late Muromachi period. The Jigane has a blackish color but very clean and clear.The hamon is a beautiful midareba in nioi-deki with some togari and in a notare base. Some nie is seen as well as shirrake. The hada is an extraordinary mix of itame which is highly reflective. There is chikei and clear ji-nie. The boshi is sugu with maru keiiri. The sword is Ubu, mumei with one mekugi-ana.The nakago is kurijiri bordering on Ha agari kurijiri.(chestnut shaped). The Yasurime marks are a crisp clean Higaki style found on many Mino blades. The sword comes in polish and in a shirasaya.  It would be easy to
